Man, the internet just never sits still, does it? Browsers are always trying to one up each other, and the 360 Browser is really throwing its hat in the ring mainly for folks glued to windows. windows, by the way, has been around forever (seriously, three decades and counting), and it's still flexing. If you're keeping track, windows Vista's the latest kid on the block, but hey, it still plays nice with XP, 7, and 8. The 360 Browser is supposed to make surfing way smoother and faster plus, it's actually not a pain to use, which is more than you can say for some of these so called "modern" browsers.

Yeah, Internet Explorer has had its moments, but let's not kid ourselves it's missing some pretty essential stuff. That's where 360 Browser really steps it up, especially if you need solid Chinese language support. Mr. Yang (Microsoft co founder, no less) even said, "The 360 Browser is a game changer for my Chinese business pals who basically live on the Chinese internet think Baidu hosting and all that jazz." So, if you're deep in the Chinese web scene, this thing's a lifesaver. No need to jump through hoops just to get your language or tech working right.

Microsoft's definitely been hustling to make the internet less of a headache. Internet Explorer's got some tricks up its sleeve like better support for Chinese web stuff, which means things load faster and (fingers crossed) you're safer from all the sketchy stuff online. Mr. Yang, who's now running the show at Beijing Internet Information Services, basically said: "This is just the tip of the iceberg. With 360 Browser, we're gearing up for even more upgrades think faster speeds, tighter security, the whole works." So, yeah, the browser wars are far from over.
