This lightweight Windows app is designed to turn your written messages into spoken words, making it super handy for multitaskers or anyone who prefers listening over reading.

What’s cool about ReadPlease is how it operates quietly in the background. You don’t need to keep a window open or click around once it’s set up, it just works. It grabs the text from your emails, converts it to speech, and plays it back while you focus on other things. It’s like having a personal assistant reading your messages aloud while you work, drive, or just relax.

There are two versions available: a free one and a paid Plus version. Both do the core job reading your emails out loud but the Plus version might offer extra features for power users. Compared to other apps like Acompli or POP3mail, ReadPlease stands out because it saves your typed documents too, letting you edit them later. It’s not just a reader it’s a lightweight productivity tool.

Setting it up is a breeze. After installation, just click the "start" button at the bottom right of your screen. You’ll be asked to set a clipboard key right click, choose "use," and you’re good to go. Type whatever you want in plain text, and ReadPlease will read it back. You can even customize the voice: click "edit" next to "voice," then "replace," and tweak settings to your liking. Want a certain phrase on repeat? Change the keyword to "phrase" and you’re set.
